How to Peel a Banana
Monkeys are definitely smarter than people when it comes to eating bananas.
Did you know that you have been peeling your banana the WRONG way all this time?
But never fear because we are here to tell you what the average banana eating monkey has known for eternity… you peel from the other end! Ask any monkey.
The Monkey method
-
Hold the banana by the stem.
-
Pinch or push just at the tip (gently) to tear the skin.
-
Peel downwards towards the stem.

You can now use the stem as a little handle to eat the banana!
Peeling your banana from the non-stem end reduces bruising to the banana and also greatly increases the chance that those icky strings that bananas have to stick to the skin and come away with it as you peel. No need to remove them separately.
Give it a try next time you eat a banana and become a clever little monkey!
